Every award below has a checklist, and every nominee cleared theirs before their name reached a ballot. This page is that standard in full — nothing on it is summarised or softened.
Voting determines the winner among qualified nominees. Voting never determines whether someone qualifies. If a nominee cannot satisfy their category's checklist, they do not appear on the ballot — no exceptions.
The three stages

Nominate
Members put names forward with evidence — specific instances, dated, with someone who can confirm each one.
02
Screen
The Committee clears or disqualifies each nomination against the category checklist, item by item. Decisions are documented.
03
Vote
Only screened nominees reach the ballot. Voting decides who wins among qualified people — it never decides who qualifies.
Rules for every category
Only active fellowship members can nominate or vote. One account, one person, one vote per category.
No self-nomination. Every nomination comes from at least 2 members who are not the nominee.
One win per person. Nobody takes home two categories.
Evidence over assumption. "Everybody knows" is never enough — every checklist item needs a specific named instance: what happened, when, and who can confirm it.
A Screening Committee of 3–5 people checks each nominee against their category's checklist, item by item, before voting opens. Every box, or no ballot.
One written appeal per disqualified nomination, within a fixed window, before voting opens.
No vote buying, no incentives, no multiple accounts. Violations can disqualify the beneficiary even after votes are counted.
A nominee found to have used manipulation, pressure, exclusion, or unkindness to win forfeits the award, even after voting.

Active fellowship member
A registered member who has attended and participated in fellowship activities during the current academic session.
Academic session
One full university session — typically two semesters, per FUTA's calendar.
Exco
A member currently holding an Executive office — President, Vice President, Secretary, and other officially recognized Executive positions.
Worker
A member serving in a fellowship unit (Bible Study, Prayer, Choir, Media, Protocol, Ushering, Follow-up, and so on) who does not hold an Exco office.
Non-worker
A member not currently serving in any fellowship unit.
Corroboration
Confirmation of a claimed instance by someone other than the nominator and the nominee.
