How it works

How the dinner works

Register, get your consent token, then pair up with the person you're bringing. Everything you need for the FYB Dinner is here.

Registering

  1. Step 1

    Check you're on the list

    Enter the email or phone number attached to your RCF FUTA profile. We work out your level from your class set — the dinner is for the graduating class only, so 400 and 500 level finalists.

  2. Step 2

    Add a clear photo

    Upload a recent, front-facing photo of yourself. It's how the team confirms it's you at the door, so no group shots and nothing covering your face. We check for exactly one clear face before you can continue.

  3. Step 3

    Confirm your details

    Look over the name, unit and level we pulled from your RCF profile, then confirm. That's your registration in — no payment needed at this stage.

  4. Step 4

    Watch your inbox

    We immediately email you a confirmation containing your consent token — four characters, like FYB-7K2M. Keep that email. It's the one thing you'll need when pairing opens.

About your consent token

The dinner is a paired event, and your token is your consent in a form someone else can carry. It exists so nobody can pair with you without you actually agreeing to it — which is why we keep it out of everyone's hands but yours. Hold on to that email; pairing opens later, and this is what you'll use.

  • It only ever appears in your inbox — never on this site, and never on the organizers' dashboard.
  • One token per finalist. Ask for a resend and you get the same one back — it never changes behind your back.
  • Anyone holding it will be able to pair with you, so keep it out of group chats.
  • No organizer can see it, and none will ever ask you for it. Anyone who does isn't an organizer.

Awards & voting

The set gets crowned by the fellowship. When voting opens, head to Awards, enter the email or phone number on your RCF profile, and pick your winner in each category — the nickname under each face is what they're standing for.

  • Any RCF FUTA member can vote — any level, whether or not you're coming to the dinner. Finalists are who you vote for, not who votes.
  • You get one vote in each category. Vote in as many or as few as you like.
  • Changed your mind? Tap someone else. Only your last pick counts, right up until voting closes.
  • Your picks are private. Nobody — not the other voters, not the candidates — sees who you chose.
  • Results stay sealed until the organizers reveal them. Nobody is watching a live leaderboard.
  • Nominees aren't picked by popularity. Every category has a published checklist, and a nominee who can't satisfy theirs doesn't reach the ballot at all.
  • Standing for something? You get a campaign link and a poster — share them anywhere. Campaigning is fair game; buying votes is not.

Common questions

Check your spam and promotions folders first — a brand-new sending domain often lands there before it settles. Still nothing after a few minutes? Message the organizers at ict@rcffuta.com and they can resend it. You'll get the same token, not a new one.
